North Fork Yachats Covered Bridge
North Fork Yachats Covered Bridge was built in 1938. It is a 42-foot queen post through truss. The other queen post bridge is Lost Creek in Jackson County.
The Howe truss is the most common covered bridge truss. There are only two queen trusses in Oregon and both are shorter in length.
This bridge is delightful. However, it is not an easy bridge to photograph. The shadows and angles are a challenge. One might find a better angle but I do my best not to tresspass on private property. It might be better to capture images in the spring or fall with a decreased amount of leaves.
