Sandy Creek
Sandy Creek Covered Bridge is located in Remote, Oregon. It is an appropriately named town. The 60-foot bridge was built in 1921 with a Howe truss system.
The large windows are beautiful. Unfortunately, they are also a canvas for individuals to spray paint.
The county park is approximately 50 minutes from Coos Bay. The fresh coast air was refreshing after spending several dry days in and around Medford.

Take a look, a completed quest.

A Completed Quest #52
Sandy Creek Covered Bridge was my final bridge in my quest to photograph all of Oregon’s covered bridges. I asked a fellow traveler to take my photo to honor the moment. We had a nice exchange where he encouraged me to let my new quest present itself.
Laura Ingalls Wilder said it perfectly “the last time always seems sad, but it isn’t really. The end of one thing is only the beginning of another".”
